Yay, just received Girl Apocalypse by Angie Wang. So sweet - got a lil message, a lil signature and sketch on the back cover; and another lovely sketch tucked in the middle. Here’s her Tumblr.

Tigers
I wanted to play around with a simple colour palette for once. I’ve included some process/detail images here too, because it wasn’t so messy/embarrassing.
Oh, and here’s a song by Best Coast: The Only Place - from their new album. It reminds me of the sun, Hope you enjoy!
Johnny and the Bomb - A Musical Adaption
these were some illustrations I did for A&C Black. Stage/costume suggestions to go in an educational music book based on the novel Johnny and the Bomb, by Terry Pratchett.
The Wolf Sisters
This was the pencil drawing I worked on.

The Wolf Sisters
I’ve been feeling ill lately and wanted to distract myself. I was working on this, on and off, in between a couple of commissions. I also watched The Grey… I don’t think that the wolves were given any credit! I just wanted to make them look less vicious and snarly, like they’re always drawn.

Playing in the Sand
It’s so sunny now! Makes me feel so happy. Here’s an illustration of a brown boy playing in the sand with a white girl… I should draw more people of colour.
Petrify (Wired Up series)
Just recieved a copy of Petrify from the publisher. I might be getting another commission from them for another in the series but for a slightly younger audience and with more illustrations! Petrify is written by Beth Chambers.
